Dear HPA Families,
We hope you and your family are healthy and safe as you read this message. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during the unexpected school closure this year. We are so appreciative of our students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators and community for their flexibility and resilience during these uncertain times. Although it was not the traditional way to end our school year, we were able to celebrate with a car parade through our students’ neighborhoods, virtual awards, yard signs for our graduating eighth graders, and many ZOOM good-byes with our students!
- Summer Learning- In an effort to provide continuous learning, we will offer 6 weeks of FREE Virtual Summer School Learning! Each week HPA teachers will share PreK-8th grade lessons and activities for your child through Google Classroom. The content and lessons are created by our highly qualified faculty and staff to ensure quality and alignment to our state standards. We encourage you to take advantage of this free learning opportunity. Additional information will be provided tomorrow!
- COVID-19 Response –We have been working closely with the Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado Department of Education, Charter School Institute to create learning plans for any scenario we are faced with this fall. We are preparing for in-person learning and ensuring that we have the necessary health guidelines in place for the safety of our students and staff. More information regarding our plans will be published in mid-June.
