Hello Husky Community!
HPA is excited to welcome everyone to join us on November 3rd from 4:30 – 6:30 PM for our annual Cultural Potluck/Around the world day/Heritage Day celebration. During this celebration, students/families are encouraged to bring in a dish to share with the community and come dressed to impress with attire from your culture or heritage. There will also be a prize for the dish that is voted the favorite by the entire community. Specific details are listed below, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel reach out to Mr. Li via email at chrisli@highpointacademy.net.
General Logistics
- Students must be accompanied by an adult. Students CAN NOT BE DROPPED OFF
- All dishes must be brought to the school after carpool dismissal 4 PM.
- Please indicate if you will need an extension cord or outlet for your dish (we will set you up near power)
- Please bring plates/napkins/utensils for your shared dish
- Please have the name of your dish, the origin of the dish, and the ingredients.
- 2 Tickets to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on 11/9th at 7 PM will be given out to the best dish. The winner will be announced at 6 P.M. after all votes have been cast.
